The Night Of Tunnels

Lyuntaaz

On the seventh evening of Lyuntaaz, we bathe in mud in remembrance of our people's escape through the mud filled tunnels of Arjoqu, and the defeat of the Todroc by the mighty hand of Ponai during the Ezharvit Confrontation.

The cohage is lit this night, but no additional lights are added.

The following prayer is read from a liquid proof card:

Moacibi puguqeoco chik, Ponai, coz rofi rua gubayo weh brizayguhi yaixaf'oh bea Todroc, rauluteb aokogia gosa gik kai weh brifoqipi. Biti gik welk ruhd aokogia coz rua wammav kai yok coz zadyac, jub gik yok jaubae rua feobex kai depo vakheh bea wajobi de brifuodze. Andere.

Praise be to you, Ponai, for by your hand our ancestors crushed the Todroc, bringing freedom to us and our descendents. Let us use this freedom for your glory, and not for zadyac, so that we do not incur your wrath and again suffer the wajobi of slavemasters. Andere.

We wear slave isepgos caked in mud for the entire evening to remember the Arjoqu escape. We also eat hedsino molds and dexar fungi as our forefathers did in the tunnels, and sing the Hodbok.
