The apocalypse

This week, you are going to get to see my conspiracy theorist side. Now I am not a paranoid man by nature. I don't go around saying that the Red Cross is injecting blood donors with mind control chips. That kind of conspiracy theory is just stupid. There are a lot of conspiracy theories out there, most of them pure baloney. However, if there is something wicked that can be done, you know that someone's going to do it. Humans conspire. Demons conspire. Is it any wonder that in the course of a war which has lasted longer than the entire human race, there should arise a conspiracy involving both of them?

I have said for many years that world events occur on four levels. The first is what the public sees. The second is the plotting of whatever secret societies are pulling the strings. The third is satan, manipulating the manipulators. The fourth and final level is God controlling all other levels to bring about the results He desires.

You heard me say last week that Satan hatched a plan to wipe out Christians and Jews and revealed it in 1776. The plan was later revealed to a man by the name of Albert Pike, a high-mucky-muck in the freemasons, who outlined the plan in a letter in 1871. The plan calls for a number of secret societies and organizations, working in concert, to manipulate world events in order to bring about three world wars. The particular agencies are not important to this message. If you'd like to know more, there are some authorities on apocalyptic events such as Hal Lindsey and Jack Van Impe who know much more about them than I do.

Now I am not saying that all of this is true, but when taken in the context of the river of history, with the consideration that these events have come about after the revelation of the plan, it seems very difficult to discount.

From this point, I will refer to the events of the three world wars as the Apocalypse. This includes the holocaust, several additional lesser wars and the great tribulation. This should not be confused with Armageddon, which refers to a specific battle in WW3, and in a more general sense, to the third world war. Nor does it mean Ragnarok, the end (or rather renewal) of the world, which will occur much later.

Satan's overall plan is to establish a godless world. This began with World War One. I'd like to present a little excerpt from Mr. Pike's plan, here.

"The First World War must be brought about in order to permit the Illuminati to overthrow the power of the Czars in Russia and of making that country a fortress of atheistic Communism. The divergences caused by the "agentur" (agents) of the Illuminati between the British and Germanic Empires will be used to foment this war. At the end of the war, Communism will be built and used in order to destroy the other governments and in order to weaken the religions."

Indeed, communism was built up. Russia would later become the center of the soviet union and attempt to create a godless, communist state. Naturally, they did not succeed. while the church in the west was flourishing, the church in Russia was now pressure-cooking. The persecution which had made the American church strong would now do the same for the Russian church, in time. As communism spread down through China and its neighbors, the same would happen there, as well. These Christians, though supressed, would become a very powerful secret weapon.

Now to the second war. Let's see what Pike has to say.

"The Second World War must be fomented by taking advantage of the differences between the Fascists and the political Zionists. This war must be brought about so that Nazism is destroyed and that the political Zionism be strong enough to institute a sovereign state of Israel in Palestine. During the Second World War, International Communism must become strong enough in order to balance Christendom, which would be then restrained and held in check until the time when we would need it for the final social cataclysm."

To rephrase simply, the New world Order Conspiracy (or NWOC) created the Nazis to persecute the jews. As Nazi germany grew, becoming the core of the Axis powers, the Christian nations became threatened and fought back, squashing the nazis. Sympathetic to the jews, they would then re-establish the nation of Israel. The NWOC, however, would see to it that Israel was pretty much indefensible. With Israel gathered together in their own land, it no longer had the safety that disbursion had given it. The final world war would destroy it.

Several things happened that the NWOC did not count on. One was Japan's dissillusionment with their old religions upon their defeat at the hands of supposedly stupid white gaijin. They began to see that America had something they did not, and they wanted it. Western culture flooded into Japan, and with it, the gospel. While a great deal of Japan still holds to Shinto, there is now a fair Christian presence in the nation which is spreading. In addition, the military control of Germany created a door by which the gospel would come flooding back into Europe with new power. From there, it would go south into Africa and East into the communist bloc, hindered only a little by the iron curtain.

In the late 20th century, the Soviet Union crumbled. The repression of the Russian church was lifted and the gospel exploded. Meanwhile, the church in China had secretly grown to mammoth proportions, and had begun enacting its own plan of world conquest. They are even now conspiring to take the gospel west across the islamic nations until it reaches Jerusalem, where it started.

And of course, the NWOC vastly underestimated Israel. Despite the "Auschwitz borders" which left them indefensible and the internal attacks of a fake nation created by Egypt, Syria and Jordan, not to mention those nation themselves, Israel has not only survived, but prospered. They have changed their borders and become the single most fearsome military force in the world, rather like the feeder rat who beat the snake to a bloody pulp.

The third world war, according to Pike's plan, will bring the muslims against Israel, with the Christian nations coming in to defend them. Here's what Pike thinks will happen.

Then everywhere, the citizens, obliged to defend themselves against the world minority of revolutionaries, will exterminate those destroyers of civilization, and the multitude, disillusioned with Christianity, whose deistic spirits will from that moment be without compass or direction, anxious for an ideal, but without knowing where to render its adoration, will receive the true light through the universal manifestation of the pure doctrine of Lucifer, brought finally out in the public view. This manifestation will result from the general reactionary movement which will follow the destruction of Christianity and atheism, both conquered and exterminated at the same time."

Poor wicked monster who asked for it. He has no idea. He figures all the world's major religions will wipe each other out. What he didn't know is that there won't be any Christian nations left.

Now many theologians disagree with me, but most, and all the ones whose reasoning I respect, believe that God will remove His saints from the world at this time. This means everyone who has accepted Christ as savior and every innocent soul. Just as He took Enoch and Elijah, so He'll take all of His Christians, as well as every baby, born or unborn. For three and a half years, history will be allowed to progress toward the boiling point. Once that moment is reached, all Hell breaks loose. Literally.

The last three-and-a-half years, we call the GREAT tribulation, and all Christian theologians agree that this is not figurative, it WILL happen. God will unleash such fury upon the Earth that people will literally die by the billions. Yet the world continues to rebel against God, hunting and beheading those few who accept Jesus after the rapture. Russia sweeps down from the North, assimilating every army between Moscow and Ethiopia, then marching on Jerusalem. God will destroy them with a great Earthquake. But that's not where it ends. Three more armies will come. One from the E.U., one from Africa and one from China and its neighbors. They will gather against Israel in the valley of Megiddo to fight the battle of Armageddon.

Albert Pike's plan doesn't cover this. However, God's plan does. Consider tonight's reading. At the height of the battle of Armageddon, Jesus returns to Earth with the armies of Heaven riding behind Him. That's you and me, brothers! We'll be there to see it! Jesus will destroy his people's enemies. World War Three ends with the triumphant return of the Lord.

Those yet opposed to God who remain alive will be cast into Hell. Satan and all of his followers will be locked away where they can do nothing. The saints who accepted Christ after the rapture will become the first generation of the real New World Order, one headed by the loving God who died to save the world from sin, and now has returned to save it from evil. THIS will be the time of universal peace and harmony.

In our voyage down the river of history, we have passed three violent whitewater rapids, floated past our own era, and we now find ourselves on the surface of a great lake, calm and serene. Our voyage is not done, however. There remains yet one chapter to be told. Next week, I will speak about Ragnarok. After that, I could use some suggestions.

So what have we learned tonight?

God is sovreign. Even when it seems like Satan is winning, God is in command. He turns the devil's plans against him and uses what was intended for evil to conquor evil. Because of this, there is never reason to give up hope.

God is hard at work. He never abandons us, but is always there, working for our good. It is sometimes overt, sometimes hidden, but He is literally willing to change the world for those He loves, and He will never just abandon us.

Most importantly, if you have not accepted Christ, now is the time to do it. The tribulation will be a terrible time which no one will want to face. Jesus offers everyone a way out. Take it now, before it's too late.

Today's reading: Revelation 19:11-21
11 I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war.
12 His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself.
13 He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God.
14 The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. "He will rule them with an iron scepter." He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty.
16 On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun, who cried in a loud voice to all the birds flying in midair, "Come, gather together for the great supper of God,
18 so that you may eat the flesh of kings, generals, and mighty men, of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, small and great."
19 Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against the rider on the horse and his army.
20 But the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who had performed the miraculous signs on his behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped his image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.
21 The rest of them were killed with the sword that came out of the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh.
